Why the BTS ARIRANG World Tour Is Historic for ARMY
The ARIRANG world tour is BTS’s first major tour since their Permission to Dance on Stage era ended in 2021–2022, a gap of about four years.
All seven members, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, completed mandatory South Korean military service and reunited to record and tour together.
The album ARIRANG itself is deeply symbolic, named after Korea’s most iconic traditional folk song, representing BTS’s roots, identity, and global journey.
The ARIRANG BTS world tour 2026 is the largest in the group’s history: 85+ shows, 34 cities, 23 countries, two continents, and a 360-degree stage.
Demand was so overwhelming that Mexico’s president reportedly contacted South Korea’s president personally to request additional BTS concert dates in Latin America for 2026.
